Filters capture particles. UV treatment depends on the device, exposure and installation. Review the purpose and limitations of the proposed equipment; neither approach removes every indoor pollutant.
Can filtration reduce airborne pollen?
A compatible particle filter can reduce pollen that passes through it. Results depend on the filter, airflow and use; symptom relief is not guaranteed.
What does air purification installation cost?
Request a written quote for the selected equipment and installation. Confirm replacement filters, maintenance and any other ongoing costs before approving work.
Will an air cleaner solve a mold problem?
Air cleaning does not correct a moisture source or remove existing mold. Address the underlying moisture and cleanup needs; discuss filtration only as an additional measure.

Existing maintenance agreement details
Petey’s Protection Plan
For one complete HVAC unit: two visits per year with general 19-point maintenance, 10% off repairs and priority scheduling. Choose $11.99 per month with a 12-month agreement or $131.89 for the 12-month base plan, saving one monthly payment compared with $143.88. Additional-unit charges are separate. The 10% benefit is for repairs; air-quality equipment and installation pricing are separate. The agreement automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before expiration. Cancelling during the initial 12-month term makes the remaining annual-contract balance due immediately. Plan billing begins after the first visit. Existing members should confirm coverage and scheduling under their current agreement.
