What indoor humidity should I aim for?
EPA guidance recommends keeping indoor relative humidity below 60%, ideally 30–50%. Discuss suitable settings for your home and equipment; this is general guidance, not a guaranteed result. EPA indoor air guidance
What does dehumidifier installation cost?
Request a written quote for the selected equipment and installation. Confirm drainage, electrical work, maintenance and any other separate charges.
Will a dehumidifier lower my energy bill?
Savings are not guaranteed. Compare the proposed unit’s energy use and your current system operation before estimating any change in cost.
What maintenance is required?
Follow the selected model’s instructions for filters, cleaning, drainage and service. Confirm ongoing costs and which tasks are included in your agreement.

Existing maintenance agreement details
Petey’s Protection Plan
For one complete HVAC unit: two visits per year with general 19-point maintenance, 10% off repairs and priority scheduling. Choose $11.99 per month with a 12-month agreement or $131.89 for the 12-month base plan, saving one monthly payment compared with $143.88. Additional-unit charges are separate. The 10% benefit is for repairs; dehumidifier equipment and installation pricing are separate. The agreement automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before expiration. Cancelling during the initial 12-month term makes the remaining annual-contract balance due immediately. Plan billing begins after the first visit. Existing members should confirm coverage and scheduling under their current agreement.
